The University Pablo de Olavide (UPO, Seville) is a public University committed to offer high quality education. It is located in a single campus equipped with the latest technologies. In its 140 hectares it combines teaching, research, and social and sport activities, which makes it a different alternative. All courses in the Universidad Pablo de Olavide are adapted to the European Higher Education Area. Education in the new official courses is based on providing the knowledge, the abilities and the skills necessary so students can enter successfully the European labour market.
The effort of UPO University to stay in direct connection with the society and with the social changes is proved by the role of the Vice-rectorate of Culture and Social Policies, which works to improve equality and to fight against social exclusion inside and outside the university.
In terms of EU projects, the University is carrying out around 50 different actions within H2020, ERASMUS+ or other R&I programs.
